Greetings Night Creatures!

Well, the annual Rondo Awards, (for Horror and Sci-Fi achievements) have been announced for 2007 and lo and behold, Prof. Griffin has once again been nominated…but this time for BEST HORROR HOST!

In previous years, our humble little website http://www.midnightshadowshow.com was nominated 2 years in a row!

Now, a NEW category has emerged listing 13 current active TV Horror Hosts in a effort to gather the most votes for ‘best’. While I disagree with the idea in theory, I understand the need to put a category together like this.

So…I am once again asking for all of my friends, fans, and associates to cast a vote towards Austin’s own Horror Host, your truly. Fangoria TV may be beyond the pale…but we are not, and being selected for national all horror cable goodness has got to count for something right? Heh-heh-hehe.

And finally, for The Monster Kid Hall of Fame, I humbly suggest once again....Billy Van. Creator and star (mulitple roles) of the 1970's Laugh-In inspired Monster themed children's show, The Hillarious House of Frightenstein (with Vincent Price). Van passed away early in 2006.

The Mike Hodges-directed, Dino De Laurentiis-produced FLASH GORDON (1980), which stars Sam J. Jones, Melody Anderson, Timothy Dalton, and Max Von Sydow as the ultimate Ming the Merciless, is getting the super-ultra-deluxe DVD treatment — the Saviour of the Universe Edition, set to be released on the August 7, 2007.
